Adults
Has Vision Felt Different Since a Brain Injury or Neurological Condition?

I read more slowly and often need to reread the text to be able to understand.

My ability to use vision changes during the day, especially when I become tired.
I find it difficult to look back and forth between a screen and a document without losing my place.

I sometimes misjudge steps, distances or where objects are positioned.

I need to turn or position my head differently to see something more easily.

I need more time to find a word on a page, an item on a screen or an object among other things.

When I am outdoors, bright sunlight or glare makes it harder to see comfortably, orient myself in my surroundings and can quickly make me feel visually tired.
Vision2Brain supports adults experiencing changes or difficulties in functional vision and using visual information in everyday life.

Support may be relevant for adults with:
-
Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
-
Other acquired neurological conditions
-
Persistent visual difficulties following brain injury
-
Difficulties with visual attention and understanding visual information
-
Difficulties coordinating vision and movement
-
Visual difficulties affecting everyday activities, work or independence.

The focus is on understanding how you use vision in everyday activities, identifying your individual strengths and difficulties, and determining priorities for support and training.

New or worsening blurred vision, double vision or other sudden visual changes should first be medically assessed. Once appropriate medical evaluation has been completed, their impact on everyday visual functioning can also be explored as part of a Functional Vision Assessment.
Not sure?
You Don't Need to know what's causing the visual difficulty and discomfort before contacting Vision2Brain.
That's why we start with an individual initial consultation.
