Visual sequential memory

Ability to remember visual details or a series of pictures in the order has been presented, such as recalling the week's days in order, months of the year, a telephone number, the alphabet, etc.

Dysfunction of sequential memory might affect the child's ability to remember the sequence of letters in order in a word and from here difficulty in reading words, copying the number in correct order and solving a mathematical problem. It also affects the daily life activity in children and teenagers, for instance, remembering the sequences for washing the teeth, remembering the sequences necessary for preparation of a cake, etc.
