perceptual functions

Visual perception function includes different subcategories of functions that are not working in isolation but in combination, in order to create a coherent and efficient function enabling people to give meaning to the world around them. Those subcategories of visual perceptual functions are necessary pre-requisites for learning.

Visual perception functions, together with visual functioning, are part of the functional assessment programme provided by Vision2Brain based on standardized or non-standardized tools chosen in line with each child's age and level of development.

A short definition and the role of each visual perception function in educational and daily life activities are presented below.

The definition and description of the visual perception functions are based on several references that you can consult here.
